Walkers, the well-known crisps brand, has discontinued one of its popular snacks for the second time in four years. Initially, production of Crinkles crisps ceased in 2022, only to be reintroduced two years later. However, Walkers has now officially announced that the product will no longer be available due to production being stopped.
Crinkles were known for their crinkle cut, salted flavor, and the promise of “more flavor in every ridge.” A spokesperson for the PepsiCo-owned brand informed a fan that the Walkers Crinkles range was discontinued in February 2026.
A check on supermarket websites revealed that Crinkles are no longer included in multipacks, disappointing many fans of the snack. Reviews from customers praised the crisps, with one shopper giving them a top rating and describing them as “simply brilliant” due to their great flavor and satisfying taste.
Another customer highlighted the crunchiness and thicker cut of the crisps, along with the enjoyable crinkled texture that made them irresistible. Despite the disappointment expressed by fans, the possibility remains that Walkers might reintroduce Crinkles based on consumer feedback in the future.
Earlier this year, Walkers reintroduced two flavors of crisps that had been discontinued for two decades, namely Chilli and Cocoa Sensations, and Slow-Roasted Lamb and Mini Sauce flavor, as limited edition options. While some customers were not impressed with the new flavors, particularly criticizing the taste, others were nostalgic for discontinued varieties like Snaps.
As Walkers navigates consumer feedback on its product offerings, the brand continues to innovate and introduce unique flavors to its lineup.
