“Sky TV Merges Cinema Channels for Enhanced Viewing”

Date:

Sky TV customers can expect a significant change in their channel lineup starting April 30. The telecoms and TV provider has revamped its Cinema channels, merging Sky Cinema Animation (formerly on channel 312) into Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This move aims to streamline the viewing experience by consolidating all family-friendly films in one place.

Despite the consolidation, viewers will not lose access to any content previously available on Sky Cinema Animation. Popular titles like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will still be accessible on the new combined channel. Sky assures customers that all the content from the discontinued channel will now be part of Sky Cinema Family.

For fans of Sky Cinema Animation, there is good news. The channel will make a temporary return during school holidays, running from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5. This means children will have the channel back to entertain them when not in school.

The changes aim to enhance the viewing experience for Sky TV customers, offering a more streamlined and convenient way to access family-friendly films.
