An accomplished actor, bodybuilder, and model has passed away at the age of 41, just a fortnight after sharing a heartfelt message online.
Jakub Łoza’s family confirmed his death at 3 am on Sunday, May 3, to his numerous social media followers. Only those closest to him were aware of his undisclosed illness that he had been fighting for some time.
In a post two weeks prior to his passing, he shared, “I’m currently undergoing treatment – it’s a real phase I’m going through. I’ve never asked, ‘Why me?’ I’ve always said, ‘Jesus, I trust in You. If this is the path, I accept it.’ And you know what? I’ve never felt more at peace than I do now.”
Despite his positive outlook, the news of his sudden death has shocked many. His agent, Ewa Rączy, expressed her surprise, stating, “We’d only seen each other recently through work. He was active, looked great, and seemed to be in the prime of his life. There was nothing to suggest anything was wrong. I had no indication, either from him or from his loved ones, that he was dealing with any health problems.”
Jakub was recognized for his roles in popular series and films such as “Barwy szczęścia,” “Szpital św. Anny,” and “Najpierw ucichły ptaki.” In addition to his acting career, he also excelled as a bodybuilder, personal trainer, and model, consistently promoting health and lifestyle improvement among his followers.
Reportedly residing in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, Jakub previously achieved first place in the Classic Bodybuilding category at the UK Ultimate Physiques British Finals in November 2018.
Ewa reflected on Jakub’s talent and character, saying, “He was excellent in front of the camera, with a natural ease around people. He was young, full of energy, committed, and talented, but also warm and kind. The sort of person who gave something good to others – through his presence, professionalism, and positive energy. That makes his passing all the harder to come to terms with.”
His funeral is scheduled to take place today in his hometown of Rzeszów, Poland.
