The grieving family of a man who tragically passed away after an alleged hit-and-run incident in Arnold, Nottinghamshire, has shared a heartfelt tribute following his untimely death.
Tyler Fairman, aged 26, was out with his teammates for an end-of-season celebration when a red Vauxhall Astra veered onto the sidewalk and collided with a group of individuals on May 9. Mr. Fairman sustained severe injuries during the incident and succumbed to them three days later in the hospital.
Tyler was among several pedestrians injured by the red Vauxhall Astra in Market Place at 1:12 am on Saturday, May 9. Subsequently, a murder investigation was initiated by detectives.
The suspect, Duane Anthony, was apprehended on Saturday evening and charged with five counts of attempted murder on Monday, May 11. The 40-year-old also faced charges of aggravated vehicle theft, driving while disqualified, and driving without valid insurance.
Anthony, residing on Marton Road, Bulwell, was detained on Monday and is scheduled to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on June 8, with a trial date set for October 7.
