Meghan Markle recently posted an adorable photograph of Princess Lilibet before the Sussexes’ upcoming trip to Europe. In the picture shared on Meghan’s social media, the Duchess of Sussex’s daughter was captured assisting her mother in preparing for their journey to Geneva. Lilibet, named after her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, was depicted at Meghan’s feet in the wardrobe, helping with her shoes.
Ahead of an event in Geneva, Meghan will advocate for enhanced global safeguards for children online. She is set to attend the opening of the Lost Screen Memorial alongside World Health Organization (WHO) director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. The memorial will feature 50 illuminated lightboxes displaying the lockscreen images of children who lost their lives due to online violence and digital harm.
During the ceremony, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, will honor the children remembered in the installation and emphasize the critical need for improved global protections for children online. The event is being hosted by the WHO and Archewell Philanthropies, the charitable foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, in collaboration with The Parents’ Network, a group advocating for safer online environments for children.
The memorial will be attended by Geneva mayor Alfonso Gomez Cruz, health ministers, child safety advocates, and families affected by online harm. Online child safety advocate Amy Neville, whose son Alexander is featured in the exhibition, will be one of the speakers. Visitors will have access to a digital companion to hear the stories of the children highlighted in the memorial.
