A 15-year-old boy was fatally stabbed in Dollis Hill, north-west London on Saturday night, sparking a murder investigation. The victim, identified as Jamal Ringrose, received treatment at the scene for his injuries before succumbing to them in the hospital.
Detectives have initiated a murder probe and are providing support to Jamal’s family with the help of specialized officers. Following the incident, a 15-year-old suspect, whose identity is protected due to his age, was apprehended and charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He appeared in court on Thursday.
Additionally, a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm. The 15-year-old suspect faces allegations of possessing an offensive weapon and affray and is currently in police custody, while the man has been released on bail.
Detective Inspector Simon Ager, leading the investigation, expressed condolences to the victim’s family and urged witnesses to come forward with any information or footage that could aid the case. He emphasized the importance of even the smallest details and encouraged individuals with relevant recordings to share them with the authorities.
