The incident occurred in Sydney, Australia, where the truck driver miraculously escaped with minor injuries after the collision caused the truck’s cab to detach from the vehicle.
The entire event was recorded on camera and has since gained traction on social media platforms. The red Coca-Cola truck was traveling through Mascot, a suburb of Sydney, when it crashed into a white 4WD vehicle at the junction of King St and Botany Rd.
Footage shared on a Facebook group, Dashcam Australia, depicted the truck proceeding through a green light before the white SUV attempted a right turn, leading to the collision. The video captured the sound of a horn, followed by gasps from witnesses as the vehicles collided.
Witnesses exclaimed in shock as the Coca-Cola truck slid forward on the road surface. The impact of the crash was so severe that the truck’s cab tipped forward, causing it to detach with the driver still inside. Another truck managed to stop just in time to avoid further collision.
