“Tragic Discovery: Missing Russian Woman Found Dead in Suitcase”

Date:

A young woman named Lyudmila Turkova, aged 27, who went missing while on vacation in Serbia, was tragically discovered deceased inside a suitcase. She had disappeared for six days after mentioning that she was meeting friends at a nightclub in Belgrade. The locals spotted her body inside a dumped suitcase in the Vizelj canal and promptly alerted the authorities.

A 25-year-old Turkish man identified as K.E. was apprehended at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport as he attempted to leave the country, becoming the primary suspect in the murder case. The police, assisted by a trained dog, located Ms. Turkova’s remains in the water.

The authorities have not revealed the details of her demise. A local report indicated that her body was sent for further examination to determine the cause of death through an autopsy at the Institute of Forensic Medicine.

Described in a missing persons appeal, Turkova stood at a height of 5ft 1inch with long blonde hair, a nose piercing, and distinctive tattoos including two snakes on her left thigh, a large calligraphic design on her right lower leg, and Japanese-style tattoos on her shoulders. Originally from St Petersburg, Russia, she had a diverse professional background as a promoter, bartender, and body-art model.

Turkova had intended to spend two weeks in Belgrade but disappeared on July 25. The last contact with her was past 11 pm before her phone signal was lost.
