“Miracle Poodle Beyli Rescued After 29 Days Under Earthquake Debris”

Date:

A beloved family pet, a French poodle named Beyli, was discovered alive after spending nearly a month trapped under debris from a powerful earthquake in Venezuela. The heartwarming rescue took place in La Guaira, where Beyli was found nestled beside the body of Victoria’s mother, who tragically perished in the disaster alongside the girl’s grandmother.

Rescuers managed to extract the 11-year-old canine from the rubble, where it had endured 29 days without proper nourishment. Victoria expressed her gratitude on social media, thanking the rescue team for their tireless efforts in saving her dog against all odds.

The earthquake, which struck on June 24 with magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5, devastated La Guaira, leaving behind a scene of destruction and despair. The official death toll has surpassed 5,500 individuals, with thousands more injured and displaced.

Beyli is currently receiving veterinary care in Playa Grande, where medical professionals are amazed by the dog’s resilience and recovery progress. Victoria and her loyal companion have found temporary shelter provided by authorities in the wake of the natural disaster.

Experts warn of potential health and environmental hazards in the aftermath of the earthquake, emphasizing the importance of swift cleanup and reconstruction efforts. With thousands still missing, injured, or homeless, the community faces a long road to recovery and rebuilding.
