She posted before and after images of the temporary henna tattoo, revealing that it had almost completely faded a week later.
The mother shared pictures of her daughter’s henna tattoo progression, displaying an initial shiny, intricate black design that later faded, leaving irritated, itchy skin with pink welts. She mentioned that her daughter is now undergoing treatment with steroid cream and is slowly recovering, with doctors concerned that the temporary tattoo might leave a lasting scar on her hand. The mother expressed regret for not including temporary tattoos and henna on the list of items to avoid, emphasizing the dangers of black henna containing paraphenylenediamine (PPD), a toxic chemical that can cause severe allergic reactions, permanent scarring, and other long-term issues.
