“Bill Clinton Speaks Out on Epstein Testimony”

Date:

Former President Bill Clinton made his first public statement following his testimony at the Oversight Committee regarding his connections to Jeffrey Epstein. Clinton’s images were found in the initial batch of files disclosed by the Department of Justice earlier this year, showing him in various settings, such as swimming in a pool and relaxing in a hot tub. While he was seen with redacted faces of women in some pictures, there have been no allegations of misconduct against him in relation to Epstein.

During the early 2000s, Clinton traveled on Epstein’s plane multiple times after his presidential term from 1993 to 2001. He expressed remorse over his association with Epstein and clarified that he cut ties with Epstein long before his guilty plea in 2008.

Addressing the House Oversight Committee, Clinton strongly denied any awareness of Epstein’s criminal activities, stating, “I saw nothing, and I did nothing wrong.” He emphasized that he would have reported Epstein if he had suspected any wrongdoing.

The closed-door deposition of the Democratic former president lasted over six hours, during which he cooperated fully with lawmakers. Although the deposition remains confidential, it is recorded and is expected to be disclosed after review by the Clintons’ legal team.

In a new three-minute video statement, Clinton urged others connected to Epstein to testify before Congress and called for the release of all Epstein files by the Department of Justice. He hopes his testimony will encourage transparency and prevent similar incidents in the future for the benefit of the survivors.

Clinton, who faced public scrutiny during his presidency for his affair with Monica Lewinsky, has encountered additional attention regarding his past connections with Epstein.
