“Counter-terror authorities aid investigation of Derby car incident”

A 36-year-old man, originally from India but residing in the UK for several years, was apprehended just seven minutes after the incident. Chief Superintendent Emma Eldred mentioned that their force is collaborating with Counter Terrorism Policing, emphasizing that such cooperation is standard in incidents of this nature and does not imply that the incident is being treated as terrorism.
