A male individual faces charges for a double homicide following the discovery of two deceased individuals at a residence in East Sussex. The arrest of the 58-year-old suspect occurred after the bodies of Adrian Horton, aged 66, and Uschi Schild, aged 46, were found during the early hours of Tuesday.
Law enforcement responded to a property on Seven Acre Close in St Leonards-on-Sea after receiving reports of injuries to a man and a woman at the location. The suspect, Sean Gray, 58, was apprehended at an address on Battle Road. Gray, who has no permanent address, is scheduled to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
Detective Superintendent Jay Mendis-Gunasekera expressed condolences, describing the situation as tragic, and extended sympathies to the families and friends of the deceased. The ongoing investigation aims to uncover the circumstances surrounding the deaths, with authorities indicating that both the suspect and the victims were acquainted. No additional suspects are being sought in connection with the case.
