An investigation into the final hours of a television personality has brought to light disturbing details of the night the drag performer engaged in sexual activities with multiple individuals, including a dog.
Darren Meah-Moore, a registered sex offender aged 39, was discovered deceased in a lane in central Cardiff after leaving Pulse nightclub in full drag attire. The inquest revealed that Meah-Moore, known by the stage names Crystal Couture and CC Quinn and recognized from appearances on Ru Paul’s Drag Race, had intimate encounters with several men.
During the inquiry at Pontypridd Coroner’s Court, it was disclosed that CCTV footage captured Meah-Moore engaging with two men on multiple occasions, with a third man later admitting to involvement in a sexual act with the drag queen and his dog. The circumstances surrounding the case have been thoroughly examined for a comprehensive understanding.
Following Meah-Moore’s disappearance, reported by his spouse on January 23, 2023, a club staff member observed him entering a nearby car park. Nightclub manager Sean Rogers later discovered Meah-Moore’s lifeless body covered with flattened cardboard boxes, indicating a deliberate action.
Despite efforts to revive Meah-Moore, he did not respond, prompting Rogers to contact emergency services. The South Wales Police provided details of Meah-Moore’s last appearance and attire, emphasizing the distinctive elements of his outfit.
Forensic tests uncovered both human and non-human semen in Meah-Moore’s system, matching that of the third individual involved in the incident. Further examinations explored the possibility of a dog-related allergic reaction, suggesting a potential link to Meah-Moore’s sudden passing.
The inquest delved into the sequence of events leading up to Meah-Moore’s demise, with testimonies shedding light on the interactions that transpired. The coroner, David Regan, scrutinized the circumstances surrounding the involvement of the dog and raised queries regarding the cause of death.
Detective Superintendent Paul Raikes addressed the sensitivity to dogs exhibited by Meah-Moore but noted the lack of conclusive evidence attributing the death to an allergic reaction. The court revised the initial cause of death to encompass a combination of factors, including asthma, alcohol consumption, and the sexual encounter involving the dog.
Ultimately, the coroner concluded that Meah-Moore’s passing resulted from a sudden event in correlation with his activities on the night in question, ultimately leading to an inconclusive determination regarding the precise cause of his collapse. The investigation remains open to further examination and clarification.
