“Fatal Crash on Sydney’s Harbour Bridge Claims Man’s Life”

A fatal collision occurred on Sydney’s famous Harbour Bridge, resulting in the death of a man. The incident happened around 12:40 pm local time on Saturday, July 18. Emergency responders rushed to the Bradfield Highway following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

New South Wales Police officers arrived at the scene and found that two vehicles had collided. Paramedics and police immediately provided CPR to a man in his 70s, who was then rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital in critical condition. Sadly, the man passed away in the hospital, although his identity has not been disclosed yet.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the crash. An official report will be prepared for the NSW Coroner’s office. The police have urged anyone who may have witnessed the incident or possesses relevant dashcam or mobile phone footage to come forward with information by contacting Sydney City Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers.

Images from the scene depict multiple emergency vehicles surrounding the wreckage on the bridge, causing significant delays in northbound traffic. The accident’s impact on traffic flow led to long queues forming on the bridge, as reported by 7News.
