“Fear Grips Notorious Inmate Wayne Couzens in Wake of Prison Attack”

Date:

Wayne Couzens is reportedly feeling extremely fearful in his prison cell, apprehensive about his safety following a violent attack on Ian Huntley. The assault on Huntley, who is currently in critical condition in the hospital after sustaining severe head injuries, has caused a stir within HMP Frankland, known as the ‘Monster Mansion,’ housing some of the UK’s most dangerous offenders.

Among those unnerved by Huntley’s ordeal is Wayne Couzens, a former police officer aged 53, who was convicted of the rape and murder of Sarah Everard in March 2021. Sources within the prison claim that Couzens is living in dread of becoming the next target, anxious about facing a similar fate to the infamous child killer.

Last Thursday, Huntley, aged 52, was rushed to the hospital following a brutal attack with a metal bar in the prison workshop. Medical personnel were able to save his life after prison staff initially believed he was deceased upon discovering him covered in blood on the floor.

According to insiders, Couzens is overwhelmed with fear and rarely leaves his cell. Concerns have been raised that he could be the next victim, especially as he shares a prison wing with Huntley and is almost as despised. The recent media coverage of Sarah Everard’s murder anniversary has further intensified the scrutiny on Couzens, adding to his distress.

Reports suggest that other prominent inmates, such as Urfan Sharif, who murdered his daughter Sara, 10, in August 2023, and David Fuller, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2021 for sexually assaulting over a hundred female corpses while working at NHS morgues, are also feeling uneasy about potential threats.

Couzens, a former Metropolitan Police officer, committed the heinous crime against Sarah Everard by falsely arresting her for breaching Covid regulations in 2021. Following her abduction, he raped and murdered Ms. Everard, concealing her body in woodland near Ashford. In September 2021, Couzens received a whole life order for his crimes, with Lord Justice Fulford emphasizing the abuse of his police authority as a crucial factor in the severe sentence.
