“Four Arrested in Poole Stabbing Death”

In a tragic incident in a Dorset town, a young person has lost their life due to a stabbing, leading to the arrest of four men on suspicion of murder. The unfortunate event took place on Longfleet Road in Poole, with emergency services responding at 2:13 am on Friday, June 19, where the 18-year-old victim, a resident of Poole, was rushed to the hospital with a suspected stab wound but unfortunately succumbed to the injuries shortly after arrival.

According to Dorset Police, it is believed that the victim sustained the injuries during an altercation in Dale Close before being transported to Longfleet Road in a vehicle. Following the incident, four men between the ages of 19 and 22 have been taken into custody on suspicion of murder, including a 19-year-old from Poole, a 22-year-old from London, a 22-year-old from Bletchley in Buckinghamshire, and a 20-year-old man from Blandford in Dorset. All four individuals are currently detained as the investigation progresses.

Meanwhile, two men aged 36 and 38 from Bournemouth, who were initially arrested on suspicion of murder, have been released without further action. Detective Superintendent Neil Third from Dorset Police expressed condolences to the victim’s family and assured them of ongoing updates on the case.

Police have conducted searches in the Dale Close area and are continuing investigations at an address in Castleman Smith Close in Blandford in connection to the incident. Authorities emphasized the importance of public cooperation, urging anyone with information, home CCTV footage, or dashcam recordings from the vicinity of Dale Close or Longfleet Road during the incident to come forward.

Earlier, law enforcement sought information on a dark-colored Nissan Juke spotted near Dale Close at the time of the tragedy, but later confirmed locating the vehicle.
