“Four Teenagers in Custody After Leeds McDonald’s Stabbing”

Four teenagers were taken into custody following an incident where a man was stabbed outside a McDonald’s in Leeds. The altercation took place on Briggate at 9:08 pm on April 28, resulting in a 34-year-old man sustaining a stab wound to his stomach. The victim was promptly transported to the hospital, and fortunately, his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police responded to the scene, setting up a cordon outside the McDonald’s and cordoning off a pedestrian area while utilizing cameras to collect evidence. West Yorkshire Police apprehended four teenage boys, aged between 13 and 16, at the site of the assault, located at the intersection of Briggate and Boar Lane. The teenagers have been released on bail as the investigation continues.

Authorities have not disclosed further details regarding the cause of the incident. A police spokesperson informed The Mirror that the suspects were bailed out, stating, “At 9:08 pm on April 28, officers were summoned to Briggate in Leeds after reports of an altercation. A 34-year-old man was hospitalized with a stab wound to his stomach. He is receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Four teenage boys, aged between 13 and 16, were arrested on suspicion of assault at the scene and are currently in custody. Leeds CID is actively investigating the matter.”
