For the last ten days, I have been in close proximity to the wildfires in Gironde, where I witnessed my first fire cloud. Moving to France in 2021, I was drawn by the country’s pleasant climate and relaxed lifestyle. However, I was unprepared for the extreme weather events I experienced.
