A man is facing murder charges following the tragic passing of a headteacher. Cyclist Michael Mullins was pronounced deceased at the scene of a collision on Monday. The incident occurred on Paddock Lane in Altrincham around 6:10 pm on April 20. Simon Richardson, aged 34 and with no fixed address, has been accused of murder, manslaughter, dangerous driving, failing to stop, and driving without insurance, as per a statement from Greater Manchester Police. He is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today.
