After being airlifted to London, Madeline spent intense days receiving treatment, while Zoe faced her own health crisis, battling sepsis in a different hospital.
Despite the challenges, Madeline’s condition gradually improved over several weeks, leading to her eventual discharge on June 3. Her recovery journey continued at home with regular monitoring and medication. Zoe reflected on the emotional turmoil and uncertainty they endured, expressing gratitude for Madeline’s resilience and progress.
Today, as Madeline approaches her first birthday, the family celebrates her remarkable strength and recovery. Zoe affectionately refers to her as ‘Miracle Maddie’ for her courage and determination.
