A father who went missing was tragically discovered deceased inside a vehicle in Oldham. Christopher Neary, aged 58, was the subject of an extensive search launched after he was last seen by a neighbor and reported missing. He departed his residence on Lees New Road in Oldham around 6:55 pm, with his family believing he was traveling in his silver Ford Focus.
The discovery occurred on Monday evening when authorities were notified of a car off the road near the junction of Abbey Hills Road. Greater Manchester Police confirmed the deceased individual as Mr. Neary. Images from the scene depicted a breach in the hedgerow where the vehicle descended down an embankment.
The specifics of the collision remain unclear, and investigations by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are ongoing. Authorities are appealing for information from anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area between May 28 at 6:50 pm and June 1.
