Taylor Charlton, aged 15, was last seen on the evening of May 8, prompting a widespread search effort by the police for the teenager from Barnstaple. Devon and Cornwall Police announced the arrest of a suspect in North Devon on Friday, following new information provided to investigators. The detained individual is currently in police custody.
The latest confirmed sighting of Taylor, who has since turned 15, was captured on CCTV footage near a footpath near Tarka leisure center in Barnstaple, where he was observed heading towards the River Taw.
