A mother who accused 10 men of raping her, leading to some of them being held in police custody, is now facing imprisonment. Stacy Sharples falsely accused several men, causing them to endure months on bail or under investigation. The Bolton Crown Court revealed that one of the cleared men encountered Sharples in public, prompting her to falsely claim he threatened her with death, resulting in a police call.

She was initially charged with 19 counts, but only 10 proceeded to court.
