“Smiling Monk Unearthed: Extraordinary Photos Amaze Followers”

Date:

Extraordinary photos have emerged showcasing a deceased Buddhist monk, known for his smile, being unearthed by his dedicated followers two months after his passing. The revered monk, Luang Phor Pian, passed away on November 16, 2017, at the age of 92 in Bangkok, Thailand. Originally from Cambodia, Pian spent most of his life as a respected spiritual leader and Buddhist teacher in Lopburi, central Thailand.

Upon his death, his body was returned to the temple where he had served for burial. In a customary Buddhist practice, his followers removed his body from the coffin. To their surprise, they found his remains had barely decomposed, and there was a perceived ‘smile’ on his face. Witnesses were amazed to see Pian seemingly smiling as he was carried by his followers in front of a gathering crowd.

Spectators captured photos of this astonishing event and shared them on social media platforms. Reports indicate that the monks exhumed Pian’s body to clothe him in fresh, clean robes. Local media mentioned that his condition was akin to someone who had been deceased for no more than 36 hours.

The tranquil expression on Pian’s face is seen as a sign that he may have achieved enlightenment. His devoted followers will continue their prayers for him until a final farewell ceremony is held on the 100th day after his passing.
