A teacher who is married has been accused of engaging in sexual misconduct with a student, with authorities suspecting the possibility of additional victims. Samantha J. Watson, residing in Eastvale, Southern California, was arrested on allegations of sending harmful material to a minor and other sexual offenses.
The arrest took place last Friday concerning alleged sexual incidents occurring between 2017 and 2018 while Watson was employed at a charter school in Moreno Valley. Watson resides in Eastvale with her spouse, Willie Watson, in their $1.2 million property.
Authorities initiated an investigation into the alleged misconduct on January 28, 2026, following reports of inappropriate interactions with a student. The Riverside Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit was informed and has taken over the case.
The investigation remains active, and law enforcement believes there could be additional victims. The Riverside County Sheriff’s office released a statement confirming the investigation’s progress and urged anyone with relevant information to come forward.
