Tragic Fall at MSG: Man Plummets 150 Feet during Concert

Date:

A man, aged 51, tragically fell to his death during a concert at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night. The victim, identified as Paul Kueker, was a beloved married father of two from Connecticut. The incident occurred as Kueker plummeted 150 feet from the Chase Bridge during a performance by the band Goose, just before 10 pm on Saturday.

Paul Kueker, who attended the concert with his wife, was swiftly transported to Bellevue Hospital after the fall. Regrettably, he was later pronounced dead by authorities. The band Goose was performing their second night at MSG as part of their summer tour, concluding their set around midnight. In response to the tragedy, the band expressed deep sorrow and extended sympathies to all affected individuals.

Witnesses at the concert reported that the man fell from the upper seating tiers down to a lower level, equivalent in height to a 10-storey building. Photos shared on social media depicted the aftermath of the incident, showing damaged seats with police tape sectioning off the area.

Attendees recalled the distressing noise of the fall and the subsequent response by emergency personnel. Despite the tragic event, the band reportedly continued with their performance after a brief pause, with paramedics seen evacuating the injured man on a stretcher.
