Donald Trump has made a significant shift in his approach, moving away from aggressive threats to a more diplomatic stance, according to a body language expert interviewed by The Mirror.
The fiery US President had previously issued menacing warnings, but recently pivoted by announcing a deal with Iran to establish a ceasefire and open the critical Strait of Hormuz. The terms of the agreement appear favorable to Iran, including the lifting of sanctions and control of the Strait.
Trump expressed optimism about the deal on TruthSocial, highlighting progress in negotiations for long-term peace with Iran and in the Middle East. He mentioned receiving a proposal from Iran and emphasized the need for a two-week period to finalize the agreement.
Body language expert Judi James noted Trump’s change in tone as a move towards a more diplomatic approach, possibly to avoid getting embroiled in a contentious war. James pointed out the formal language used by Trump, contrasting with his previous more aggressive rhetoric, indicating a shift towards a more measured and binding communication style.
The expert also observed Trump’s use of certain linguistic traits typical of his writing, such as capitalizing words like “PEACE” and “CEASEFIRE,” as well as the liberal use of punctuation marks. Despite these familiar elements, Trump’s recent statements reflect a departure from his earlier confrontational style towards a more composed and diplomatic discourse.
