Had I supported my husband’s journey to Dignitas in Scotland, I might have faced charges of ‘culpable homicide’ under Scottish Law.
Advocating for assisted dying to be universally accessible across the UK, I traveled to Scotland to support the cause. The emotional speech by Liam McArthur and other MSPs, sharing poignant accounts of real deaths, highlighted the urgent need for change in end-of-life care.
