Police are urgently searching for a missing woman who vanished four days ago. Carol Hillier, aged 64, disappeared from Sandy, Bedfordshire, and was last seen near The Old Anchor pub in Sutton, near Ely. Her Mercedes E Class car was found parked across from the pub.
Cambridgeshire Constabulary is conducting a search for the 64-year-old woman in areas with water and greenery close to where her vehicle was discovered. Authorities remain hopeful that she is still alive.
Described as white, 5’4 tall, medium build, with mousy grey hair, grey/blue eyes, and wearing glasses, Carol was last seen wearing a dark plum Rohan coat, a pale blue beanie hat, dark walking trousers, and carrying a small backpack. Police have issued an urgent appeal for anyone who may have seen her to come forward.
Detective Inspector Alice Draper from Cambridgeshire Constabulary urged anyone who might have spotted Carol since Sunday to contact the authorities. Specialized officers are focusing their search efforts on water areas near where her car was found. Witnesses with potential sightings or dashcam footage are asked to assist in narrowing down the search area.
