Tonight, the National Lottery Lotto prize reached an impressive £11.2 million following four consecutive rollovers. The draw happened, offering the chance for a fortunate player to win a life-changing amount.
The winning Lotto numbers for today are 5, 6, 13, 18, 22, and 53, with a bonus ball of 9. Additionally, the Thunderball draw took place, with the opportunity to win £500,000, and the winning numbers are 23, 29, 31, 38, and 39, with a Thunderball of 5.
Unfortunately, there was no jackpot winner tonight. However, three individuals secured £1 million each by matching five main numbers plus the bonus ball, while 87 others matched five numbers to claim £1,750 each.
The previous Lotto draw on Wednesday didn’t produce any jackpot winners, leading to the accumulation of funds for tonight’s draw. Nonetheless, one person managed to match five main numbers and the bonus ball to win £1 million, and 66 participants matched five numbers to receive £1,750 each.
Quadruple rollovers are uncommon but have occurred a few times, notably in December 24 and twice in July and August 2025. Rollovers happen in approximately 25% to 39% of draws, making them a regular part of the lottery.
Players still had a few minutes left to purchase tickets for tonight’s draw. To play, individuals need to select six numbers from 1 to 59 or opt for a lucky dip where numbers are randomly chosen. Each play slip allows up to seven lines of numbers, and players can buy up to 10 slips at once. Tickets had to be bought by 7.30 pm to participate in the evening’s draw, scheduled for 8 pm for Lotto and 8.15 pm for Thunderball.
