Liz Truss criticized Keir Starmer for allegedly supporting the opposing side in the Iran conflict during a passionate speech at a pro-Trump gathering in Texas.
The former Prime Minister was the representative for Britain at the CPAC International Conference, a smaller event preceding the larger MAGA conference in Dallas.
Truss asserted that the Labour party has an Islamist voter base and insinuated that the Prime Minister’s reluctance to join Donald Trump’s actions in the Middle East was to avoid upsetting this demographic.
She claimed that the current government in Britain is under socialist rule and accused them of trying to appease Islamists, which she believes influenced their decisions regarding Iran.
Truss expressed her view that the Prime Minister is indecisive and suggested that he may be supporting the opposing faction.
In addition, she voiced dissatisfaction with Britain’s emphasis on renewable energy instead of exploiting resources through fracking and drilling in the North Sea.
Truss has been a regular participant at CPAC in recent years and is scheduled to speak on a panel about “The Future of Europe” on Friday.
The conference is expected to host prominent figures from the Trump administration, although it remains uncertain if the former President will deliver the keynote speech on Saturday.
Other notable figures slated to speak on Friday include Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, ICE chief Tom Homan, former Superman actor Dean Cain, and YouTuber Nick Shirley, known for exposing fraud.
The annual event has historically attracted significant attention, with last year’s gathering in Washington DC featuring a memorable appearance by Elon Musk wielding a chainsaw.
