Amazon is rolling out a major free upgrade for Fire TV devices this month, introducing a revamped Fire TV experience. The updated interface promises to be more streamlined, faster, and better organized, enhancing the user’s ability to discover desired content easily.
Among the new features are categorized sections for movies, TV shows, news, live content, and sports from all utilized services. Users can now pin their favorite apps to the home screen, access a more user-friendly menu system, and open a convenient Shortcut Panel by pressing and holding the Home button without interrupting video playback.
Additionally, the latest system update offers a performance boost of up to 30%, enhancing overall device efficiency. With the upcoming summer football season, Fire TV users will have access to a dedicated football hub for match schedules and direct links to live games on local providers.
The redesigned Fire TV experience is currently available for Fire TV Stick HD (newest model) and Amazon Ember Artline devices, with plans to extend to other models, such as the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, in the near future.
