A disruptive and alarming altercation erupted on a Jet2 flight when a bald individual posed a peculiar question to fellow passengers, as per a witness on the plane. The incident, captured in a viral video last week, showcased passengers engaging in a physical brawl while en route from Antalya, Turkey to Manchester. Amid the chaos, one passenger allegedly directed racist remarks at a person recording the event on their phone. The heated exchange, involving individuals grabbing at devices and faces, resulted in two passengers receiving bans from the airline.
According to another passenger, the commotion began with a drunken inquiry from a man that escalated to involve multiple individuals, including a woman who stood up and shouts of “get back” from others. An insider revealed to the Daily Mail that the chaos was instigated by a bald man, suspected of recently undergoing a hair transplant. The witness described the man’s loud behavior, offering fellow passengers the option to listen to music, as abnormal and linked it to potential alcohol consumption.
The source, preferring anonymity, recounted how cabin crew intervened after the disruptive individual refused to comply with requests to lower the music volume. The situation escalated as the man became increasingly belligerent, directing profanities and defiance towards the Jet2 staff. Foul language and racial slurs, as seen in the video, further aggravated tensions among passengers, leading to accusations of racism and physical altercations.
The disturbance culminated in the flight diverting to Brussels, where authorities detained the disruptive man and another passenger. Jet2 has been contacted for a statement regarding the incident.
