Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie Feel Neglected Amid Epstein Scandal

Date:

Former prince Andrew’s daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, are reportedly upset over feeling neglected in the aftermath of their parents’ involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Recent revelations from the Epstein Files indicated that the sisters had accompanied their mother, Sarah Ferguson, to the United States to meet Epstein after his release from prison in 2009. At that time, Beatrice and Eugenie were 19 and 20 years old, respectively.

Although there is no implication of misconduct on the part of the princesses, there has been a noticeable shift in attitudes towards them within royal circles. Emails from Ferguson’s assistant suggested that Beatrice and Eugenie were eager to join their mother on the trip, leading Ferguson to request travel accommodations from Epstein.

Despite being invited to the King’s Sandringham estate for Christmas, the princesses are said to be feeling isolated and unsupported by Buckingham Palace. Concerns have arisen about the potential loss of their titles and privileges due to their parents’ actions in connection with Epstein.

While there is no immediate indication that the King will strip them of their titles, there is a sense of unease within royal circles regarding making any public statements about the princesses as the Epstein scandal unfolds. Reports have surfaced suggesting that they may not be invited to Royal Ascot in June, a traditional gathering for the royal family.

Andrew and Ferguson have faced allegations of impropriety related to their association with Epstein. Andrew was arrested on his birthday on charges of misconduct in a public office, involving passing confidential information to Epstein during his role as a trade envoy. The King and Queen have expressed profound concern over the situation, emphasizing the need for legal processes to take their course.

Investigations are ongoing into multiple claims against Andrew, including allegations of misusing his position for Epstein’s benefit and entertaining trafficked women in the UK. The prince’s relationship with Epstein will be scrutinized as part of these inquiries. Additionally, details have emerged about Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Harvey Weinstein visiting Andrew at his Royal Lodge residence for his daughter’s birthday celebration in 2006.

Requests for comments from Buckingham Palace have been made regarding these developments.
