“Emergency Response at Manchester Airport Delays Flights”

Date:

Firefighters rushed to the runway at Manchester Airport in response to an incident involving a Ryanair aircraft. The scene was captured in images showing multiple emergency service vehicles present at the airport on the evening of March 19.

According to an eyewitness, all flight operations were halted for approximately 30 minutes as fire and ambulance services were on site. Manchester Airport confirmed the occurrence of an incident related to a Ryanair flight, explaining that a fluid leak resulted from a loading issue. Fire engines were dispatched to ensure the safety of the plane before it was relocated to a stand.

Both Ryanair and Manchester Airport have been reached out to for comments by The Mirror. Reports indicated that airport activities were suspended while emergency services managed the situation.

The fire service was summoned to assist a plane facing ‘mechanical issues.’ Sources informed MEN that fire crews were mobilized as a precaution to escort the plane after it encountered a mechanical problem, with reports of smoke emanating from the aircraft.

Currently, several flights departing from Manchester Airport are experiencing delays. Eyewitnesses mentioned to MEN that no flights had taken off or landed for at least half an hour.

Images from the scene depict emergency services on the runway supporting a Ryanair flight. Speculations also suggest a potential fluid leak from the aircraft.
