Police in Corby have initiated an inquiry following the tragic death of a 13-year-old girl in an e-bike accident. The young teenager sustained severe injuries after falling off the e-bike on Elizabeth Street and was swiftly taken to the hospital. Despite medical efforts, she passed away later.
The incident occurred between 2pm and 3pm on April 7. Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the event or possesses relevant footage to come forward.
In a statement, the Northamptonshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit appealed for witnesses in connection with the incident that resulted in the girl’s demise. They are seeking information regarding the e-bike accident on Elizabeth Street that claimed the girl’s life.

Police cordoned off a section of pavement measuring approximately 30 meters, with markers on the ground as detectives conducted their investigation from Argyll Street to the Eden Park complex entrance.
Officers were present at the scene near the roundabout junction with Alexandra Road around 11am. Floral tributes left by individuals were relocated from a fence by Argyll House to the nearby grass.
