A tragic incident has left a family devastated as their beloved two-year-old daughter, Grace Agnes Kenyon, passed away suddenly while playing in their garden. Grace was joyfully interacting with her older sister, Charlotte, before she began gagging and subsequently lost consciousness. Despite desperate attempts by her parents to revive her, Grace could not be saved.
The family, particularly Grace’s mother Carly, is struggling to comprehend how a cheerful day turned into a nightmare within moments. Grace, who had been living with swallowing difficulties since birth and relied on a feeding tube, was suspected to have a rare throat condition called Glossopharyngeal Palsy. Medical professionals were in the process of diagnosing her condition.
When Grace started to choke, her family initially hoped it was a passing reflex. However, as her condition worsened, emergency services were called. Despite immediate CPR efforts, Grace’s life could not be saved, leaving her family in shock and grief. The exact cause of Grace’s untimely death remains unknown, pending a post-mortem examination scheduled for May 16, which may not provide definitive answers.
