“Tesco Launches New Clubcard for 16-17 Year Olds”

Date:

Tesco has introduced a new Tesco Clubcard specifically tailored for 16 and 17-year-olds. This enhancement enables younger clientele to access a wide array of Clubcard Prices promotions for the first time, along with the ability to accumulate Clubcard points that can later be converted into vouchers.

Typically, the Tesco Clubcard is reserved for individuals aged 18 and above. The newly launched digital Clubcard for 16-17-year-olds is exclusively accessible through the Tesco app or website. To enroll, teenagers must receive an invitation from a parent or guardian’s Clubcard account.

The parent or guardian must navigate to their account settings, select “Invite to Clubcard,” and opt to send a registration link to their 16 or 17-year-old. The “Invite to Clubcard” feature is visible only in the latest version of the Tesco app. Over 24 million households in the UK possess a Tesco Clubcard.

Shama Wilson, Tesco Group Membership & Loyalty Director, expressed enthusiasm about granting younger demographics access to the Tesco Clubcard for the first time. Wilson anticipated that the new Clubcard for 16-17-year-olds would be well-received, whether customers are shopping at large or small Tesco stores.

Starting today, members of the new Clubcard for 16-17-year-olds can benefit from Clubcard Prices in-store, including the popular Tesco lunchtime meal deal priced at £3.85. Additionally, they can accrue points that can be redeemed for discounts on their in-store purchases.

Tesco shoppers earn one Clubcard point for every £1 spent at stores or for every two liters of fuel purchased at Tesco fuel stations. Points can also be amassed through transactions with Tesco Bank and Tesco Mobile, offering various point-earning opportunities. To receive a Clubcard voucher worth £1.50 for use at Tesco, a minimum of 150 points is required.

By utilizing Clubcard vouchers with Rewards Partners like Pizza Express, Alton Towers, or Hotels.com, customers can amplify the value of their vouchers. Opt for Daily Mirror as a ‘Preferred Source’ on Google News to access your preferred news promptly.
