“Heated Rivalry” Season 2 Filming Requires Privacy

Date:

Attention fans of the popular TV series “Heated Rivalry”: The Straw + Berry won’t be serving smoothies for you, and you won’t be able to visit the cottage during the filming of Season 2. Director Jacob Tierney has kindly asked for privacy for the cast and crew while they work on the new season, as shared on the official Instagram account of the show.

The message, directed to the show’s devoted fans, urges them to respect the filming locations and give space to the cast and crew. Season 2 of “Heated Rivalry” is currently being filmed in Toronto and Montreal, with a possibility of returning to familiar sites in Hamilton, Ontario.

Fans have shown great enthusiasm to catch glimpses of the series’ stars, Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie. The duo was spotted together in downtown Toronto, sparking excitement that even led to impromptu shopping trips to Canadian Tire after Williams was seen carrying one of their reusable bags.

The queer hockey romance, which premiered in late 2025, garnered a global fanbase for Williams and Storrie, elevating them to a level of stardom uncommon for Canadian TV actors. Both actors have been mindful in setting boundaries with fans and paparazzi, as seen in recent interactions.

In a separate incident, Williams was involved in a tense encounter with alleged autograph-sellers in Paris last month. Meanwhile, in Toronto, attention is also drawn to Sarah Polley’s film adaptation of “The Bell Jar,” featuring pop star Billie Eilish, despite efforts to maintain a closed set.

While photos of the productions have surfaced on social media, the “Heated Rivalry” team has not issued a public plea for privacy, unlike some other high-profile sets in the city currently experiencing similar attention.
