“British Tourist Missing in Benidorm Sparks Urgent Search”

Date:

The loved ones of a British tourist who has gone missing are deeply concerned as he disappeared overseas without a phone and potentially without money.

Authorities have been alerted about the disappearance of the Rangers supporter, who was last spotted heading towards the Old Town area of Benidorm. Donna Cullen, whose brother Ryan is mourning the loss of his mother, made a heartfelt plea for assistance on a Facebook group specifically for expatriates late last night, emphasizing the urgency of finding him safe and well.

Hailing from Saltcoats in North Ayrshire, Scotland, Donna refuted rumors that Ryan had been located and was safe. She clarified on the group that he is still missing, emphasizing his solo travel situation without communication means or financial resources.

While a group of British women claimed to have escorted Ryan back to his Benidorm hotel when they found him intoxicated on the street, Donna later discovered that he had changed his lodging arrangements. Efforts to reach him at the Apartmentos Finestrat in Old Town Benidorm have been hindered by language barriers, prompting Donna to appeal to anyone in the vicinity to keep a lookout.

Expressing gratitude for the support received, Donna highlighted Ryan’s vulnerable state as he copes with the anniversary of his mother’s passing, underscoring his familial ties and the desire for his safe return home. She urged people to share his photo and remain vigilant in the search for him.

In a separate plea around 7pm the previous day, Ryan’s friend Carly Thomson, a nurse from Ardrossan, urged the public to be on the lookout for Ryan, emphasizing the worry and concern felt by everyone for his safety.

Appealing for assistance, Ryan’s aunt also requested help from those in Benidorm to locate him and ensure his safe return to his distressed family. Local bars, including the Corner Bar Benidorm, echoed the calls for vigilance, emphasizing the high number of British tourists in the area and the family’s impassioned plea for assistance.

Demi-Lee McGee, another concerned friend from Ardrossan, expressed deep concern and urged anyone with information to contact Ryan’s sisters or the authorities to aid in bringing him back home safely.
