“Carnival Cruise Chaos: 16 Passengers Banned After Violent Altercation”

Date:

Sixteen passengers have been barred from Carnival Cruise Line after a violent altercation broke out among vacationers waiting in a customs line. The incident occurred at 8 am on Monday, June 22, as the Carnival Conquest ship arrived at Port Miami, Florida, following a trip to the Bahamas, with video footage capturing the chaotic scene.

The confrontation was allegedly initiated by two women, one in a black strapless dress and the other in polka dot pajamas, who engaged in physical altercations. Subsequently, a third woman in a yellow and white maxi-dress joined the altercation, escalating the situation as other individuals also got involved while authorities tried to restore order.

During the scuffle, belongings were thrown around, and at one point, a man was seen wielding a stanchion as bystanders reacted in fear. The brawl lasted for several minutes before it was eventually brought under control.

The cause of the clash between the two families remains unclear, and no arrests were made as both parties chose not to press charges. Carnival Cruise Lines confirmed that 16 individuals involved in the incident have been added to the “Do Not Sail List.”

The cruise company commended law enforcement for their quick intervention and emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards such behavior. This incident follows a previous altercation on a different Carnival cruise vessel, where two women faced federal court citations for simple assault and appeared before a judge in early May. Their case is pending a final ruling scheduled for August 12.
