“Former Prince Andrew Feels Unjustly Shamed”

Date:

Shamed former Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, is feeling aggrieved as he believes that people have unfairly turned against him, according to an expert. Andrew, aged 66, recently made history as the first member of the British royal family to be arrested in almost four centuries. Despite being released pending further investigation, his arrest has triggered increased scrutiny of his actions, particularly in light of the recent release of the Epstein files.

Despite denying any wrongdoing, Andrew is reportedly distressed by the public’s perception of him. Renowned royal expert Andrew Lownie remarked that Andrew still perceives himself as entitled and feels it is unjust that public opinion has shifted against him. Lownie highlighted Andrew’s upbringing in a privileged environment, where his status and royal identity were paramount, leading to a belief that he could operate discreetly without facing consequences.

In a related development, Andrew has reportedly requested to terminate his lease on East Lodge, a £13,000-per-year Grade II-listed cottage near Sunninghill Park in Berkshire. This move follows his departure from the Royal Lodge in late 2025. Lownie emphasized that Andrew’s steadfast belief in his entitlement has created challenges for his family, particularly his daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who are torn between loyalty to their parents and concerns for their own futures.

Andrew was released after 11 hours of questioning at Aylsham Police Station in Norfolk, where he was seen leaving in his Range Rover following his interrogation. Despite the ongoing controversy, Andrew remains adamant that he has been treated unfairly and is preoccupied with trivial concerns, such as the logistics of moving his horses and belongings.

Formerly known as Prince Andrew, the ex-duke, who vehemently refutes any wrongdoing, was recently criticized as “one of the most arrogant individuals” by Princess Diana’s former bodyguard, Ken Wharfe. Wharfe, who interacted with Andrew professionally during his time as Diana’s personal protection officer, described him as exceptionally arrogant, based on his personal encounters with the ex-royal.
