Ian Huntley, Infamous Double Murderer, Near Death After Prison Assault

Date:

Ian Huntley is reportedly on the verge of death after his life support was turned off following an incident at HMP Frankland in County Durham. Last week, Huntley, 52, was taken to the hospital after an attack at the prison where he was found in critical condition. Despite efforts to save him, his injuries were deemed severe, leading to a decision to transfer him to Ashworth Hospital on Merseyside rather than sending him back to the prison.

Recent reports indicate that medical professionals, in consultation with his mother, have made the decision to remove the ventilator keeping him alive as brain tests revealed he was in a vegetative state. Sources suggest his condition is dire and that his mother has come to terms with the situation. Huntley had been given a slim chance of survival after being brutally assaulted with a metal pole, resulting in grave head injuries.

Huntley, a double murderer serving a life sentence for the killings of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, faces an uncertain fate as his health continues to deteriorate. The Ministry of Justice has refrained from commenting on the matter. Despite the grim circumstances, Huntley’s parole eligibility remains distant, set for at least 2042.
