Meghan Markle recently shared a heartwarming video where Princess Lilibet’s American accent was unveiled during a chicken egg collecting session. The video, posted on Meghan’s Instagram story, featured Meghan, her 4-year-old daughter, and chocolatier Jonathan Grahm at their chicken coop.
During the video, Meghan introduced the birds to Jonathan Grahm, mentioning “Compartes is here, and there’s Hill and Jill.” In the background, Princess Lilibet’s American accent could be heard as she excitedly pointed out a “grey” egg to her mother.
Although Princess Lilibet’s face was not visible in the video, her bright pink dress could be seen. This is not the first time Lilibet’s voice has been heard, as she was previously mentioned in a tribute post to the family’s late beagle, Guy.
Fans on social media noted Lilibet’s penchant for pink, with one fan commenting, “Our princess always in pink.” It seems that both Lilibet and Archie now have noticeable American accents since the Sussexes relocated to California in 2020 after stepping back from the Royal Family.
The video provided a cheerful update following Meghan and Harry’s recent trip to Australia, where they engaged in various activities in Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra. Meghan expressed her love for Australia and its people, highlighting her affinity for the country’s Indigenous culture in an interview with Women’s Weekly.
She also talked about her fashion choices during the trip, emphasizing her support for Australian designers and craftsmanship. However, the trip received mixed reactions, with Meghan facing criticism for her outfit choice during a meeting with survivors of the Bondi Beach terror attacks.
Despite the mixed reviews, Meghan and Harry’s video with Princess Lilibet collecting eggs brought a delightful touch to their social media presence.
