While signaling a willingness to engage in dialogue with Iran, Trump highlighted the termination of the ceasefire. The negotiation focus shifted to securing public assurances regarding the strait, yet Iran’s top diplomat insisted on the country’s exclusive authority over activities in the Gulf channel.
Historically, Trump has expressed a stance of military retaliation against Iran if any threats against his life materialize. During past interactions, he has emphasized the potential destruction of Iran should any harm come to him.
