Having felt stuck in a cycle of working solely to cover expenses and with no prospect of owning a property in the UK, Ebony took a leap of faith to begin anew overseas. Over a year later, she expresses a significant improvement in her well-being, heightened energy levels, and ambition to establish her own tour company and travel guide.

Initially visiting Saint Lucia as a tourist, Ebony forged a friendship with a local named Sisi, who later assisted her in settling in permanently. With modest savings of £2,000, Ebony moved to Saint Lucia, relying on the support of friends and locals to establish herself.
Transitioning from an administrative role in a UK construction firm to pursuing her culinary passion, Ebony landed a job as a pastry chef at a hotel in May 2026, impressing the executive chef with her culinary skills and credentials. Despite the financial challenges of the move, Ebony values the outdoor lifestyle and close connection with nature in Saint Lucia, citing these factors as pivotal in enhancing her overall well-being.
