A 27-year-old model, Adva Lavie, is facing serious allegations of luring wealthy elderly men via dating apps and then robbing them to finance her extravagant lifestyle. Lavie, who is also known as Mia Ventura, reportedly pretended to be a romantic partner to these men before pilfering cash, gold, and luxury items from their residences. Law enforcement authorities claim that Lavie, who has featured in popular magazines like Playboy and Penthouse and boasts of being the top Israeli model on OnlyFans, executed this scheme between 2023 and 2025, victimizing at least five individuals with more than 10 others coming forward recently.
Following a preliminary hearing, a judge has determined that there is sufficient evidence to proceed with a full criminal trial against Lavie, who resides in Los Angeles. She is currently facing six felony charges, including two counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information, two counts of grand theft, one count of first-degree residential burglary with a person present, and one count of first-degree residential burglary.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney has confirmed that Lavie has been held to answer for these charges after pleading not guilty in December. District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman emphasized that the case will now advance to a jury trial where they aim to demonstrate Lavie’s exploitation of online relationships to gain access to victims’ homes and commit theft.
Lavie, who is free on bail with an ankle monitor, is set to be arraigned on April 6. The model is accused of targeting affluent areas of LA, including West Hollywood and Beverly Hills, and not only robbing older men but also younger women. If found guilty on all charges, Lavie could face nearly 12 years in prison.
In a separate development last October, authorities issued an alert identifying Lavie as a suspect involved in a string of residential burglaries across Los Angeles County. The alert highlighted her modus operandi of targeting elderly men through social media dating platforms.
