“£1 Million EuroMillions Prize Winner Yet to Claim”

Date:

The clock is ticking for the fortunate winner of a £1 million EuroMillions prize who has yet to step forward. National Lottery authorities are calling on participants to thoroughly search their old tickets as the deadline to claim the life-altering sum is rapidly approaching at midnight on Wednesday. The winning EuroMillions Millionaire Maker ticket, belonging to draw number 1868 on August 15, 2025, was bought in Birmingham and bears the code VLPL 28287.

Andy Carter, the senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, the National Lottery operator, inquired, “Were you present in or near Birmingham during the week leading up to the draw on August 15?” He further prompted individuals to explore their “wallets, drawers, and coat pockets,” and inform acquaintances and relatives, suggesting that the ticket holder might be unaware of their victory.

This unclaimed prize stands among six substantial National Lottery rewards yet to be collected from both Lotto and EuroMillions draws, totaling over £13 million waiting to be claimed countrywide. As per National Lottery regulations, players have a 180-day window from the draw date to lay claim to their winnings. In the event of no one coming forward before the deadline, the prize money, alongside any accrued interest, will be redirected towards National Lottery-endorsed initiatives throughout the UK.

The National Lottery disclosed that the chances of clinching a EuroMillions prize are approximately one in 139 million or, more precisely, one in 139,838,160.
