A 16-year-old boy named Mikhail Cuba met a tragic end while innocently riding his scooter one day. Elijah Emmas, a 17-year-old school bully, is accused of deliberately causing Mikhail’s death by running him over with his car. The incident occurred in November in Orlando, Florida, on a narrow street without a sidewalk. Initially investigated as a hit-and-run, the case was elevated to first-degree murder charges after surveillance footage suggested Emmas intentionally targeted Mikhail.
Mikhail’s family revealed he had been subjected to severe bullying at school, leading to his withdrawal and transition to homeschooling. Emmas, identified as one of the bullies, is currently detained in a juvenile facility. Mikhail’s grandmother, Ectasy Mooty, condemned Emmas as a “sick individual” and vowed to seek justice for her grandson through the legal process.
